The REFLECT - REFLections and Exchanges for Circus arts Teachers project, led by the French Federation of Circus Schools, member of the FEDEC, is one of the projects selected in 2017 on the line "Strategic partnerships in the field of vocational education and training" of the Erasmus+ European programme with a score of 86.5/100! It was submitted by the FFEC to the Erasmus + France / Education & Training Agency on March 29th, 2017.
The project will run from 04.09.2017 to 03.12.2019 and brings together 27 partners including 25 professional circus schools from 13 countries.
The REFLECT project focuses on consulting the network and the circus arts teachers on their continuing education needs; the organisation of 2 peer-to-peer exchanges and the creation of a network of European professionals; the dissemination and use of the resources realised within the frame of the INTENTS project and the reflection on the new documentation needs for the circus arts education.
The project kick-off meeting took place at the FEDEC Meetings at CIRCa and the FFEC Meetings in Auch on Thursday, October 26, 2017. The mobilisation was high with 38 parti- cipants, among whom 25 representatives of 14 project partners. This meeting was an opportunity to display the work programme, the project partnership rules & the budget. It was also be the opportunity to involve the network on its expectations in terms of training and on its proposals for external expertise.
