The Second European Vocational Skills Week will take place on 20 to 24 November 2017. The aim is to improve the attractiveness and image of vocational education and training. Before and during the main week, activities and events to showcase excellence and quality and raise awareness of the wide range of opportunities in vocational education and training will be rolled out across Europe. These events/activities will also take place in Brussels (press conference, conference, workshops, etc.).
At the closing event of the week on 24 November 2017, some of the best VET examples in Europe will be highlighted and Marianne Thyssen, European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility, will give a series of award, for which all stakeholder organisations are invited to apply.
