FEDEC is happy to offer its members the possibility to perform at the Sziget Festival (10-15/ AUG 2023)! Besides our Hungarian member, the circus school Baross Imre, the Sziget Festival will select one other FEDEC school to perform a show in a big top tent dedicated to circus during the entire festival.

The selection criteria

• 10 artists maximum on stage (students or former students).


• Length of the performance: 25 minutes max.


• The show can’t be technically too complex.


• You need to send a video (extract, work in progress, or full performance)


• Sziget Festival will make the selection (feedback to the schools: end of March).

The planned schedule in Budapest for this double bill

• Arrival of the students on the 8th August,


• Rehearsal on the 9th August,


• Performances on the 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15th August,


• Departure on the 16th August.

The conditions

• The students will be welcomed like any other artists invited by the Sziget Festival – like superstars! It’s a unique professional experience.


• The audience: an estimated 450 000 party-goers are expected in 2023!


• Sziget Festival covers accommodation, catering, and local transport for a maximum of 10 persons.


• The school covers the travel costs.

The application form

The form (to download below) is to be sent back to FEDEC (events@fedec.eu) with a video of the show, or the work in progress, or at least an extract, by the 17th of March.

All applications received will be sent to the Sziget Festival for selection. The selected school will be informed by the end of March.
