The National Circus School is a higher education linstitution located in Montreal, with the primary mission of training circus artists. Internationally renowned for highest-quality training, the School opens its doors to close to 150 students from around the world.

The School provides a complete spectrum of professional programmes in circus arts: Preparation for Advanced Training, Circus and High School, and Diploma of Collegial Studies in Circus Arts. The School also offers certification programs for instructors and trainers in circus arts.

The School’s staff, a dedicated team comprised of more than 50 teachers, lecturers and invited artists, ensures that each student receives personalised attention and encouragement throughout their training. With new facilities that cater to all disciplines while promoting safety, the School provides a unique learning environment.

Curriculum offered:

• Diploma of Collegial Studies in Circus Arts: Three-year programme intended for Canadian or French students. Combines specialised training in circus arts with the general Quebec college education. College diploma (DEC 561.D0) issued by the Quebec Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sport.
• Diploma of National Circus School Studies: . Three-year higher education programme (for foreign students) leading to a diploma issued by the National Circus School.

Admission: Application form to be submitted before mid-December for the Paris and Buenos Aires auditions and before mid-January for the other cities.
Auditions in January - February, in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Paris and Buenos Aires. Candidates living more than 1000km away from these cities may be exempted in the auditions.

School year from late August to mid-June.
