International Circus Festival “Golden Karl-2012” (Latvia) call for applications

From 13th to 15th January, 2012, Riga Circus invites artists from all around the world in Latvia to take part to the International Circus Festival “Golden Karl- 2012”, which awards prizes to circus artists.

CALL FOR PROJECTS FOR YOUNG ARTISTS

International Performing Arts Lab

IUGTE & ArtUniverse organise various international intensive practical trainings with the purpose of exploring the bridge between world theatre traditions and contemporary performing arts.

The programs take place in several countries and are designed for experienced performing arts practitioners (actors, dancers, actors of physical theatre, contemporary circus performers, choreographers and directors).

Several scholarships are offered for professional performers, covering part of the participation fees (for more information click here).

Call for residency in Brasil

The Instituto Sacatar (Brasil) opens its selection process for Fellowships to artists from all creative disciplines. Fellowships consist in eight-week residency sessions in Bahia, Brasil throughout 2012 and 2013.

NoFit State Circus Apprenticeship Scheme

NoFit State are looking for three performers/ recent circus school graduates from England aged 18-30 to join the company from April 2012 for one year of"professional development:"  both training at NoFit's Cardiff centre and time spent touring with a professional production.
