« Acrodanza and sorority project: exploration and analysis of the methodology of learning and transmission » is organized by CREAT At TEM, Teatro el Musical in Valencia Coordinated by Roseta Plasencia and Meije Pons, from 18 September 2023 to 22nd September 2023.

A one-week research and laboratory work on ACRODANZA with the support of CREAT, thanks to the creation residency program of the Ajuntament de València 2023.

Our long-term goal is to write a book about the teaching methodology of acrodanza during the 23/24 season, through the organization of different one-week research laboratories with small groups.

During this week, we will conduct a technical work section, research, and movement analysis on certain basics of acrodanza and its variants, as well as a dance section where we will investigate how to apply movement qualities to the technique.

• Directed to: individuals who identify as women.
• Dates: from the 18th to the 22nd of September 2023 (arrival on 17th and departure on 23rd - Attendance for the entire period is essential).
• Location: At TEM - Teatro el Musical, city of Valencia.
• Capacity: A group of 10 people.
• Requirements: Identify as a woman, have proficiency/knowledge in the basic acrobatics list, and have dance knowledge. Accommodation, meals, and transportation will be covered (partially or fully, depending on each participant's origin and total cost).
