Open call for acrobatic performers (Closing soon!)

Corpo Màquina Society (NLD)

Job opportunity

Corpo Máquina Society is looking for 2 acrobatic performers to join the new creation "Fábrica", under the direction of choreographer Guilherme Miotto, and their ongoing participation projects in Tilburg (NLD).

About the artistic projects:

Corpo Máquina Society develops participation projects which are focused on bringing a variety of groups and individuals together through movement and performance. Within these projects they approach the body as a base to connect people, regardless of age and background.

"Fábrica" is raw, precise and physical: a ritual of repetition, intensity and transformation. Choreographer Guilherme Miotto aims to reshape the stage into a workshop of rhythm and movement. With 3 dancers, 2 acrobatic performers and 2 live percussionists, they build a world where movement and sound are inseparable, where every action resonates and every rhythm is felt through in the body. Percussion is the beating heart of "Fábrica", an oxygen for connection: bodies are like instruments, which become extensions of the performers.

Application criteria:

Corpo Màquina Society is looking for 2 performers with strong acrobatic abilities (flips, dynamic physicality, trampoline) to join their new creation "Fábrica". They must also be comfortable to work with different groups, like kids, teenagers and adults, through their participation projects.

Candidates must have a European passport, or a permanent EU residence permit. They must be available for the whole rehearsal period. It is possible to reside on a commuting distance during the coming season (2025/2026).

Selection process:

  • Candidates must apply before 20th May 2025: send a CV and a short video (max. 2 minutes) sharing your acrobatic skills to audities@corpomaquina.nl
  • Selected candidates will be invited to audition on 7th and 8th June 2025 (11.00 - 17.00) in Tilburg or Breda (NLD).
  • The rehearsal Periods will take place from 3rd July to 15th August 2025, and from 1st to 14th September 2025.
  • The performances will be programmed at different periods throughout 2025/2026.
