SPEAK OUT: Presentation of the project results

Online - 3 & 17 June 2025

Announcement

Our SPEAK OUT project formally came to an end but FEDEC is still strongly committed for a safer circus, to promote inclusion, diversity and to prevent harassment and abusive conducts.

Whether or not you took part in the SPEAK OUT activities, you are warmly invited to an online presentation of the results of the project. New tools will be shared, and it will be an opportunity to put your questions to the team and to the evaluator of the project:

  • In French: Tuesday 3rd of June from 16:00 to 17:30 CEST, with Rosa Matthis - evaluator of the project
  • In English: Tuesday 17th of June from 16:00 to 17:30 CEST, with Rosa Matthis - evaluator of the project, and Amelia Thornton, who designed the Straps Gap report resulting from an aerial straps symposium on gender equality organised in 2024

Registrations

Resources

Did you know that we have created a series of documents specifically for circus schools?

You can find them on the SPEAK OUT toolbox.

SPEAK OUT (2023-2025) is a European project aimed at preventing all forms of sexism and gender-based discrimination and violence in the circus arts sector. It is led by FEDEC in partnership with JUMP! Equality at work and co-funded by the European Commission’s CERV programme (DG for Justice). More info here.
