About the festival
ACT International Festival for Emerging Performing Artists opens call for entries for its 23rd edition which will take place from 4 to 6 June 2026 in Bilbao (ESP).
ACT´s main goal is to promote and spread the work of new creators to the audience, cultural managers, programmers and the media. To achieve this, the festival facilitates spaces for meetings, reflection and debate, besides an exceptional pedagogical program for the participating performers.
How to take part
As part of its short play competition, ACT launches a call for international and emerging performing artists who have scenic works of maximum 30 minutes.
To participate, fill in the application form and send a video of your piece. The deadline for application is 20 December 2025. Make sure you read the general terms of the festival (to download below).
