CirKusKus is looking for an intern to join the team as a Cultural Manager. This internship offers a good opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the world of contemporary circus.

During this time, the intern will be involved in the daily life and tasks of a dynamic cultural organization, learning the processes behind festival organization, communication, marketing, and event management.

Profile

  • A student with an Erasmus+ scholarship,
  • With good proficiency in English (B2),
  • Creative, communicative, and innovative,
  • Interested in marketing, management & circus arts, 
  • Independent, flexible and proactive in diverse tasks.

Missions

  • Learning how to organise a festival: the World Circus Day.
  • Marketing, website & social media management.
  • Communicating with artists, institutions, networks.
  • Taking part in international circus networks meetings.
  • Organising circus workshops and a summer camp for children.
  • Helping with accounting and finance work (budget, grants application).

Contract

  • Full-time (38 hours per week).
  • 4-6 months, from January 2026.
  • No financial compensation (need Erasmus+ scholarship).
  • Possibility of renting a private furnished room in a dormitory near CirKusKus. 
  • Office and training space within Bratislava reachable by public transport.
