Invitation to a Webinar on Circus and Education

The Circus Researchers Collective, in collaboration with En Piste, is organising a 4-session webinar on the theme ‘Circus and Education’. 

These sessions aim to bring together individuals engaged in or interested in circus-related research, educational issues, teaching practices, and training approaches, providing an opportunity to share research projects, experiences, and resources internationally.

The 1st session will take place on Thursday 4 December 2025, 16:00 – 17:30 (CET). Sarah Poole - artist, educator, and independent researcher - will discuss the following topic: "In Support of Sustainability: Teaching Future Circus Artists in Québec"

In this presentation-conversation, Sarah will share aspects of her research on professional sustainability for circus artists, as well as reflections on teaching practices within a professional circus training program. The session will include a 20-minute presentation followed by an open discussion. The presentation will be bilingual (English/French).
