Join the handstand convention led by Jean-Baptiste André

The Académie Fratellini and Jean-Baptiste André (Association W) have joined forces to offer you a convention on handstand!

How to take part

This convention is open to professional and student equilibrists who speak French. It will be held from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th March 2026 at the Académie Fratellini in Saint-Denis (FRA).

The participation fee is €60, which includes workshops and conferences, as well as an invitation to the show ‘Nonobstant’. Accommodation and meals are not included.

What's on the agenda

• Masterclasses: workshops led by Jean-Baptiste André, Julia Christ, and Yuval Ayalon. Balance will be explored through different approaches and according to the sensitivity of the speakers.
• A ‘Fabrication’: a fun, interactive lecture in which Anne Quentin contextualises the different balances in the history of the circus.
• An invitation to ‘Nonobstant’: a show conceived and performed by Jean-Baptiste André.
• Time to freely share practices in a spontaneous and lively exchange.
• An open stage (TBC).
