Open Call mittelyoung 2024

From 16 to 18 July 2024, 9 selected shows will be staged in Cividale del Friuli for the fourth edition of Europe’s most under30 festival.

Applications are open to artists and ensembles under 30 in the fields of theatre, music, dance and circus from 27 European countries: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Ukraine.

All applications will be examined by a group of curators under 30 built thanks to the collaboration between mittelfest and some institutions and training bodies of Friuli Venezia Giulia region. In addition, a few people selected by the SNG Nova Gorica (Slovenia) will be part of the curatores group.

Nine titles will be selected from the proposals received (2 theatre, 2 music, 2 dance, 2 circus and one show that may belong to one of the aforementioned categories) to be scheduled between 16 and 18 July 2024 in Cividale del Friuli.

The same group of curators under 30 will select, during the days of mittelyoung, 3 shows to be included in the playbill of mittelfest Disorders. The selected performances will be scheduled between 20 and 22 July 2024 in Cividale del Friuli.
