Sziget festival: Call for applications

FEDEC is happy to offer its members the possibility to perform at the Sziget Festival! The festival will select one FEDEC school to perform a show everyday during the festival in a big top tent dedicated to circus.

The selection criteria

• 10 artists maximum on stage (students or former students). 
• Length of the performance: 25 minutes max. 
• The show can’t be technically too complex. 
• Sziget Festival will make the selection (replies to the schools: end of March). 

The planned schedule in Budapest

• Arrival of the students on the 5th August, 
• Rehearsal on the 6th August, 
• Performances on the 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12th August, 
• Departure on the 13th August. 

The conditions

• The students will be welcomed like any other artists invited by the Sziget Festival – like superstars! It’s a unique professional experience. 
• The audience: 420 000 party-goers attended in 2023! 
• The festival covers accommodation, catering, local transport (for a maximum of 10 people), and of course gives free tickets to attend the concerts! 
• The school will cover the travel costs.

All applications received will be sent to the Sziget Festival for selection. The selected school will be informed by the end of March.
