FOCON - Call for applications for a long-term training program, “Project Development Path”

The results of this selection process will be published no later than early July 2026.

Purpose of the call for applications

To select up to 12 artists to take part in the long-term training program “Project Development Structuring.” Participants are supported over a four-month period in structuring their project, using tools and mentoring methods developed at Ésacto’Lido, within a collective dynamic centered around individual work.

Applicant profile

Artists with a creative project in the field of circus arts who wish to reflect on their career path, professional positioning, and practice, and to acquire artistic and administrative structuring tools.

Particular attention will be given to collective projects during the selection process.

Prerequisites

• Have advanced technical mastery in a specialized physical discipline.

• Have initial professional experience and be engaged in a career development process.

• Be the lead of an individual or collective artistic project (collective applications are encouraged).

• Be at least 26 years old (no maximum age limit).

• Be fully available from November 2, 2026 to March 31, 2027.

• Be registered with France Travail at least two months before the start of the training.

• For applicants from outside the EU, a full-time work visa is required.

• Have a very good command of the French language (the program is conducted in French).

Schedule

• Application deadline: Tuesday, April 28, 2026 (midnight)

• Information meeting: Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

• Interviews: Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30, 2026

• Training period: November 2, 2026 to March 31, 2027
