Job description

Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with the Training Coordinator and the Artistic Director of the artistic training programmes, the Pedagogical Coordinator for Professional Training Programmes will be responsible for the following:

  • Design and organise the curricula, timetables and annual schedules for the artistic training programmes.
  • Conduct one-to-one meetings with trainees to monitor their progress, provide guidance, support injury prevention, oversee injury follow-up and adapt training schedules where necessary.
  • Recruit teaching staff and ensure overall pedagogical consistency across the programmes.
  • Update assessment sheets for each discipline and competency within the training framework.
  • Update competency portfolios and pedagogical resource files.
  • Develop course content, deliver selected theoretical classes, and schedule them within the training calendar.
  • Work closely with the Training Coordinator and Administrative Assistant on administration, scheduling, attendance, placements and theoretical courses.
  • Support trainees preparing for certification by reviewing and providing feedback on written assignments, organising practical assessments and participating in examination panels.
  • Organise monthly meetings, pedagogical committees and review sessions with the teaching team.
  • Prepare end-of-year reports, including pedagogical evaluations and individual trainee progress reports.
  • Participate in end-of-year evaluation meetings.
  • Develop links between trainees and circus professionals through classes, meetings and networking opportunities.
  • Organise the recruitment process and select applicants, while ensuring diversity and gender balance.
  • Collaborate with the Artistic Director on presentations and performances.
  • Contribute to the drafting of training programme applications for the DRAC (preparatory programme) and the Occitanie Region (certification programme), ensuring compliance with the requirements of the French Ministry of Culture, France Compétences, Qualiopi, and other relevant accreditation bodies.
  • Contribute to strengthening cooperation within the French and European circus sectors.
  • Develop circus or cross-disciplinary projects within the Procirk network or in partnership with other arts schools.

Candidate profile

Essential knowledge :

  • Strong knowledge of the circus arts sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning software (experience with Pronote Campus would be an advantage).
  • At least 3 years' professional experience in education, training or teaching.
  • Good knowledge of the Qualiopi quality framework.
  • Understanding of the operation and renewal of professional certifications (RNCP).

  • A qualification in education, pedagogy or training engineering is highly desirable.

Expérience professionnelle de 3 ans minimum dans le domaine de la formation ou de l’enseignement.
Formation souhaitée: pédagogie et/ou ingénierie de formation.

Salary: ECLAT Collective Agreement, Coefficient 350: €1,993 (28 hours/week) to €2,491 (35 hours/week)
