Open Call | Contemporary performance, dance, theatre & circus

Teatri Riflessi Festival has launched its 12th International Short Performance Competition, inviting artists and companies from around the world to present short contemporary performances in Sicily.

The competition is open to live works of up to 15 minutes in the fields of contemporary dance, theatre, circus and multidisciplinary performance.

Application fee: Free

What is offered?

Selected works will receive:

• A performance fee of €500 to €1,100, depending on the number of performers on stage
• Partial support for travel expenses
• The opportunity to perform in front of a professional international audience, including theatre and festival directors, dance network coordinators, programmers, residency centres, critics and scholars
• The chance to compete for several monetary prizes
• Potential touring opportunities and artist residencies

The competition aims to foster encounters between artists and companies from around the world, creating a space for dialogue, research and exchange through contemporary performing arts.
