Call for participation | Trainings

Are you a professional working in contemporary circus and/or outdoor arts, with a project you would like to develop, and are looking for guidance, new perspectives, connections and resources to take it further?

Bounce, Circostrada’s professional development programme, pairs emerging professionals of the field with experienced professionals to help them with their project.

A mentoring journey

Bounce is a 16-hour development programme with a facilitator from the Circostrada network and external experts. The facilitator is selected according to the participant’s project, objectives and needs, providing tailored support to help structure and move the project forward.

The programme also creates opportunities to meet other professionals, expand international networks and exchange experiences with peers.

Exploring fair practices and working conditions

Beyond individual mentoring, Bounce encourages participants to reflect collectively on their professional environment, with a particular focus on fair practices and equitable working conditions.

The programme includes three expert-led workshops — one on-site and two online — to explore these issues and consider how they can inform and transform professional practices.

Who is Bounce for?

Bounce is aimed at professionals working in contemporary circus and outdoor arts who have 4 to 10 years of professional experience.

Projects can range from cultural programming and editorial initiatives to the development of residencies, festivals, professional events…
