Cirque Intense

Cirque Intense was founded in 2018 and takes place every (school) year from September to July in Neuenburg am Rhein (close to Freiburg), Germany.

The school offers a way to realize the dream of making circus and stage arts a profession. An intense year (can be extended to 2 years) in a small and stable group with professional coaching, daily classes, workshops and a deeper understanding of professional stage arts.

Training offered

• Daily training sessions for all artistic areas in our exclusive Cirque Intense tent;
• Additional training in your chosen specialization (see Disciplines taught section);
• Support from an osteopath.

All participants are involved in the creation, performance and touring of a contemporary circus show. If you are interested, you can gain circus educational experience by teaching young circus performers. If you want to apply to a circus university, you will receive assistance in developing a solo act and we will support you during the application process.

In addition to artistic work, you will gain insights into circus and theater pedagogy as well as cultural and event management. You will also familiarize yourself with tent and event technology.
