Professional Integration - Focus on FEDEC members

Professional integration can be defined as the process of enabling individuals to enter the job market under favorable conditions. While training institutions often grapple with limited time, resources, and information, professionals frequently point to a gap between artistic training and the practical demands of the field.

To better understand this dynamic, we conducted a sector-wide survey in early 2025, collecting insights from 32 FEDEC member organisations. While the responses provided valuable perspectives, their diversity made it difficult to draw definitive conclusions without deeper, individual follow-up.

This publication aims to shed light on the multifaceted challenges surrounding professional integration in circus arts and to encourage further dialogue and collaboration within the community.
