Activity Reports

In 2025 we continued our commitment to safer, more inclusive, and more people-centered circus arts education:

  • Mental health: opening spaces to care for mental health and well-being in the circus arts sector through the Take Care project (2024-2027),

  • Sexism and gender-based discrimination: the publication of a series of practical resources developed through the SPEAK OUT project (2023–2025): a spotting protocol, a guide for creating a collaborative charter, and a list of organisations dealing with harassment and abusive conduct,

  • Movement and consent: exploring boundaries and consent in movement practices through the European projects En Corps et Toujours and Consent in Practice, 

  • Exchange and peer cooperation: strengthening connections and shared learning through initiatives such as the shadowing project In My Shoes and “We are comms”, the network’s communications community,

  • Professional integration: reflecting on how to turn passion into a profession during the Spring Talks 2025, organised in two parts at the Académie Fratellini and the École nationale de cirque de Châtellerault (FRA), 

  • Inside Out: inviting students to explore their mental health and well-being with the CIRCLE project, during the FEDEC Encounters at Circa.
